No. Unfortunately, Nutritionists are not recognised as eligible allied health professionals in the Health Insurance (Allied Health Services) Determination 2014. Therefore, we are unable to provide Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) services to clients.
No. Chelsea is not a registered provider. Therefore, you will not be able to claim a private health insurance rebate for any of our services.
You can book our services online via our website or Halaxy. To book an appointment on our website, simply navigate to the services page, select the service you want to book, scroll down to the online booking portal, and enter the required details.
Yes. Upon booking an Introductory Call, Growth and Nutrition Assessment, Comprehensive Feeding Assessment or Consultation appointment you will receive a booking confirmation via email. You will also receive pre-appointment reminders via email and SMS/text message, 24 hours before your appointment.
We utilise card capture to automate payment processes. When you book a Growth and Nutrition Assessment, Comprehensive Feeding Assessment or Consultation appointment, you will be required to enter your credit or debit card details to make the booking. The appointment fee will be automatically charged to your credit or debit card, 10 minutes into your scheduled appointment. We will email you a receipt immediately following payment.

We understand that sometimes you may need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. We have generous but strict rescheduling and cancellation terms which are centered around the effective utilisation of Chelsea’s time and the provision of quality services to our clients. We kindly ask that you reschedule or cancel your appointment using the online methods described below.
You can reschedule or cancel your Introductory Call by:
1) replying ‘NO’ to the pre-appointment reminder SMS/text message, or
2) clicking the reschedule or cancel link in the pre-appointment email and entering the required details to reschedule or cancel the appointment.
Assessments and Consultations:
You can reschedule your Growth and Nutrition Assessment, Comprehensive Feeding Assessment or Consultation appointment:
1) directly in Halaxy,
2) by replying ‘NO’ to the pre-appointment reminder SMS/text message, or
3) by clicking the reschedule or cancel link in the pre-appointment email and entering the required details to reschedule or cancel the appointment.
Clients must reschedule or cancel their Growth and Nutrition Assessment, Comprehensive Feeding Assessment, or Consultation appointments at least 2 hours before their scheduled appointment time, otherwise, the full appointment fee will be charged.

Halaxy is a global health platform. We use Halaxy as our practice management software, and conduct our assessment and consultation appointments via their in-built online consultation tool Halaxy Telehealth.
Clients are encouraged to create a free Halaxy account. By creating an account, you can manage your appointments and clinical records, keep track of your invoices and payments, and communicate with your care network.

We conduct our Growth and Nutrition Assessment, Comprehensive Feeding Assessment, and Consultation appointments using Halaxy Telehealth. These appointments are conducted online, via video conferencing.
To use Halaxy Telehealth, you will need a computer, laptop, or another smart device; a camera and/or microphone; a stable internet connection; and a private and quiet space. You will not need to download any software.
To access Halaxy Telehealth, simply click on the video conferencing link contained within your booking confirmation (email) or pre-appointment reminders (email and SMS/text message). After clicking the link, you will be taken to Halaxy Telehealth’s ‘waiting room’. Your appointment will begin after Chelsea clicks ‘join’ on the waiting room screen.
Telehealth appointments are a secure and effective way to access expert and personalised paediatric feeding support from anywhere in Australia. Telehealth improves people’s access to healthcare and offers greater convenience, flexibility, and efficiency by negating the need to travel.
Chelsea holds a Bachelor of Medical Science (Nutrition) and is registered with the Nutrition Society of Australia as an Associate Nutritionist (ANutr). She has completed further training to specialise in paediatric feeding. Chelsea works with caregivers of young children (aged 0-12 years), providing paediatric feeding education, assessment, and consultation services.
The following services are within Chelsea’s scope of practice as a Nutritionist:
– Provision of general paediatric nutrition and feeding advice for healthy infants, young children, and adolescents
– Provision of tailored paediatric nutrition and feeding advice for infants, young children, and adolescents (private practice clients only)
– Assessment of growth and nutritional status of healthy infants, young children, and adolescents (private practice clients only)
The following services are beyond Chelsea’s scope of practice as a Nutritionist:
– Provision of tailored nutrition advice for medical conditions (i.e., medical nutrition therapy) or specialised diets
– Diagnosis and correction of nutritional deficiencies
– Diagnosis and management of food allergies and intolerances
– Assessment and management of swallowing and feeding disorders
– Assessment and management of sensory processing and regulation difficulties that contribute to feeding problems
– Diagnosis and management of eating disorders (e.g., AN, BN, BED, ARFID)
If Chelsea determines that your feeding difficulties or situation is beyond Chelsea’s scope of practice then she will provide guidance/referral to a suitable health professional (e.g., GP, Paediatrician, Dietitian, Speech Pathologist, Occupation Therapist, Psychologist).
Chelsea holds a Bachelor of Medical Science (Nutrition) and is registered with the Nutrition Society of Australia as an Associate Nutritionist (ANutr). To retain her registration with the Nutrition Society of Australia, Chelsea is required to provide evidence of 300 continuing professional development (CPD) points over three years (100 points per year).
Chelsea is committed to keeping her knowledge and skills up-to-date and maintaining a high standard of professional conduct. As such, the hours that Chelsea invests in her CPD exceed the minimum required by the Nutrition Society of Australia.
To better protect herself, her family, and the broader community, Chelsea has completed the Australian Government’s Infection Control Training – COVID-19 training course, and is triple vaccinated.
As we are an online private practice, the risk of COVID-19 transmission is low. If we are required to conduct face-to-face services with clients or the general public (e.g., workshops, speaking gigs, public events), we will abide by all federal and/or state COVID-19 infection prevention and control measures.
